RAID: LETHAL GOLD
In association with RAID.org (Rights and Accountbaility in Development), this short film tells in stark detail the stories of some of the victims at the North Mara Gold Mine in Tanzania operated by UK listed company, Acacia Mining. The mine has been plagued by human rights problems. Barrick Gold Corporation, is the majority shareholder of Acacia Mining, holding 63 per cent.
