Filmed over three years, this film takes us deep into the lives of women and children rarely seen. It tells the extraordinary story of Masika Katsuva, a woman who survived repeated rape yet dedicated her life to helping thousands of other women and children who also suffered sexual violence. The film also reveals the motivations of some of the perpetrators, soldiers whose duty it should have been to protect the women they have instead been brutally violating.
